A NICE CLIP
FOR AUCKLAND WOOL SALE.
(BT MUGRAPH.—SPECUI 10 T« POST.)
AUCKLAND, This Day. The first wool sale of the season in Auckland will be h"e!3 on Saturday when it is expected that a> catalogue ot about 10,000 bales will be submitr~,A fc the firßt es!e of laßt «ea*on 11,500 bales were brought forward, so that the effect of the wet winter and later shearing is observable in this season's first offering. AU this week wool has been coming forward freely, and in the opinion of agents it is as nice a clip m appearance as has been seen in Auckland at this time of the year. Apparently farmers are paying greater attention than in the past to the get-up of their wool. In general, the wool is nner than usual, showing the influence of a first-year crossing, and considering the unusual amount of wet weather there has been of late months, there is a considerably smaller proportion of tender wool than had been anticipated.
