BRITANNIA THEATRE.

"Quincy Adams Sawyer" is the name of a thrilling dramatic offering now allowing at the Britannia Theatre. This was directed by Clarence G. Badger for Metro, and has a cast which has few equals even among the so-called all-star casts. It is the story of a boy who took a job in the country to thwart the matrimonial net of his mother, and the romance is set in the great outdoors. It is" replete with' 'thrilling scenes, such as the fight between a man of muscle and a man of science for a beautiful woman; the rescue of a,beautiful blind girl from the drifting ferry in the midst of a raging torrent; the dash of maddened horses through a town, -and a reckless ride over two great cliffs. Blanche Sweet, John Bowers, Lon Chancy, and Barbara La Marr are among the most prominent in the cast. The supports are good.
