LABOUR PARTY MEETING
An open/-air meeting will be held under the auspices of the Labour Representation Committee to-night, at 8 o'clock, at Veitch and Allan's corner. Among the speakers will be Messrs. A. L. Monteith and J. O'Brien, M.P.'e. and Messrs. P. C. Webb and H. L. Evans, the last of whom represents the West Coast Miners' Council. The object of the meeting is to enable a Wellington gathering to hear a statement about the West Coast mining trouble, and to explain how the dispute arose. Mr. J. M'Kenzie, president of the L.R.C. will preside.
