AUCKLAND, 21st November . Arrangements for holding tjje trial races >n connection with the Sanders Cup contest, which, will tako place in Wefhngtpn .in- January, were made at a ? w'"? °. f th? Auckland Yacht and Mo-tor-boat Association last evening Chalenges,vere received from the Napier SailWft* 6 Stewart Island Yacht Club, and the Canterbury Motor-boat Club. The chairman, Mr J. B. .Johnston,-said that Auckland would be defending the Cup, and.further challenges xvould be received from the Otago and Wellington Yacht and Motor-boat Associations.
It was decided to hold the first trial race.on Ist .December.
