AUCKLAND, 21st November. Trouble on the stesmsi' Treleven resiilted in 22 men, including seamen, firemen, and galley staff, appearing at the Police Court charged with wilful disobedience of lawful Command. While the vessel Was in port oil Monday, 12th November & melee occurred as the result of the men returning to the ship under the influence of liquor, and the captain was assaulted. He therefore decided there was to be no more pay for the men in this port. The men asked for a draw on Tuesday, and when this was denied them they refused duty. Five men, fined £3 and the others £1.
