FLAX DESTROYED.
AUCKLAND, 21st November. A fire in Donaghy's, Limited flaistoro caused considerable .damage to the building and stock of tow, totalling fifty tons, valued at £1000. The fulilxtent of the damage is not known, but all bales on one side of the store have been destroyed, and the remainder either scorched or sodden with water. The insurances are not available. The fire is attributed to spontaneous combustion. "
