PROPERTY SALE DISPUTE
Mr. Justice Salmond and a jury ,of .'our are at present engaged in the Supreme Court hearing a dispute over the sale of a residence at Seatoun. The' parties are Charles Stevens, watchmaker, represented by Mr. P. H. Putnam, and Florence and Harry Parkin, represented by Mr. H. H. Cornish, and Mr. Cv C. Mazengarb. The amount claimed is £125 for alleged false representation in connection with the building, the purchase price of which was £1040. It was alleged that though the building was stated to be in good order, it was not, •nd was "riddled with borer.".
