MELBOURNE, 12th November. At the inquest on Victor Pearce, -vvho was shot in a wine saloon, Robert Blair the licensee of the saloon, was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter.
The evidence .-.bowed that deceased ana two otherß went to tho saloon after closing time and asked for a drink They were refused * and a struggle ensued, during which Pearce was shot.
