SYDNEY, 31st October. - As Armistice Day falls on Sunday, there will be no official functions, but the Government is asking the heads of the churches to conduct special seivices, with a silence of two minutes at 11 o'clock,-, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The Government also asks the general public to observe a silence similar to that in former years.
