LONDON, 31st October. Sir L. Worthington Evans, at Huddersfield, said: "We must speed up the Safeguarding of Industries Act, but in my judgment that will be insufficient. We must have a tariff to protect our home market. Although in this next session we may do something to meet our difficulties t we must obtain further power from the electorate."
