MIRAMAR LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIPS.

The Miramar Ladies' Golf Club senior and junior championships were concluded at Mrramar on Tuesday, Miss Gambrill and Miss Plimmer being the respective winners. The senior game was interesting, Mrs. Cooke being on level terms with Miss Gambrill at the ninth and twelfth holes: The. thirteenth and fourteenth were won by Miss Gambrill, 5-6, 3-4, making her 2 up, but Mrs. Cooke won the fifteenth, both players making good drives. A mashie shot by Miss Gambrill was held in the long grass, and Mrs. Cooke won 5-6. At the sixteenth Miss Gambrill increased her lead, holing out in 4to Mrs. Cooke's 5. The seventeenth decided the championship. Both players again made fine drives, but Mrs. Cooke was bunkered with her fourth shot, taking 6, whereasMiss Gambrill holed out in 5. Miss Gambrill thus won the match by three up and one _to play. The junior championship final provided a close finish. At the turn Miss Plimmer was.s up, but Mrs. Nagle than made a splendid recovery, winning the next two holes and being only one down at the seventeenth. That made the effort at the eighteenth very exciting. Miss Plimmer succeeded in winning, and sesecured the match, two up.
