A sale of work in aid pf'St Peter's Parish funds waa opened by Mrs. Sprotfc in the church schoolroom -yesterday afternoori. There was a good attendance at both the afternoon and evening sessions, and continuation.of. the effort this afternoon and evening should-result in. a clearance of the majority of articles. Anderson, G Didsbury, and Misges Caughey and Uair; flowers, Misses Kender, Mills and Didabury; sweets, Women's Clubnovelty, Mer?« Club; needlework, G.F.S In the evening an entertainment was given by the junior pupils of Miss Helen' td n6r> Which Breatly._appreciA successful sale of work-organised by the Ladies' Auxiliary of the V.M C A was held yesterday afternoon in Bonbank Hostel, The Terraoe. Mrs. Parr declared the sale open, and the Hon. C. J. Parr, Minister of-Education, commented on the good work being done by the. YM.C.A. in keeping boys on the right track.
