WELLINGTON CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS.

The Wellington Ladies' Golf Club championship matches are being continued at the Heretaunga links to-day Play is proceeding in the second andl third rounds in the senior championship and the second round of the junior competition. Results of this morning's games are as follow :— Senior.—Miss Bell beat Miss M'Clure 4 up and 3; Mrs. Sclander-s beat Miss K^T'v P >,a" d 5; ilißß J' Marchbanks beat Miss Gambrill, 1 up- Miss Brandon beat Mrs. Birch, 3up v Junior—Miss Wheeler beat Miss Phmmer, i up and 3: It has been found necessary to postpone the match between the I teams of the Wellington Golf Club* and the Hutt Golf Club, which was to have been-play-ed next Saturday at Heretaunga.
