Paddy 'Hannah last night received. a letter from Paddon, . stating. that.. the latter refused to ro.w for: the world's sculling "championship, unless the,race is rowed on the Wanganui River. Hannan made all arrangements for: the,race to-be rowed at Auckland, relying.-on ■Paddori's previous agreement to row in New Zealand ■ provided £300 expenses was allowed; Hanrian now is disposed to accept M'Deyitt's offer to row for the Australasian 'Championeriip at Auckland in January. ■
