LABOUR CARNIVAL
The fancy dress carnival and sale of. work, to be held in the Skating Rink, Viviaa street, on Friday arid Saturday, promises to be oil the promoters, intend it to be. The rink is being transformed into a well-arranged fair and market-place, and is certainly an ideal place for such a function. The stalls will be well stocked with good things, and the evening arrangements show a well-thought-out programme. All classes have been provided for, but the keynote right, through is fun and the spirit of carnival. ■_ ■ i
