Tile "Daily Telegraph's" Parlia mentary correspondent says it is now flear that when Parliament meets the Government will Dut forward proposals relating to the Safeguarding of Industries Act, and possibly also ]tfr. M'Kenna's duties. The impression of well-informed members of the Conservative Party is that a general election will be held early in the- cominc year.
