The following further cases were dealt with at tho Magistrate's Court yeeterday :— For stealing three hundredweights of coal from his employer, a driver named Thomas Patrick Murphy, who was twice ■convicted for theft in 1921, was sentenced to 21 days' imprisonment. A fireman named Charles Eichard Bannister pladed guilty to the theft of an attache case valued at £2, and was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within twelve months when called upon.
