MELBOURNE, 13th October. Roy Reed will ride Rapine in the Melbourne Cup. Ho arrives on Tuesday.
Brown Rajah arrives next week, with a view to contesting in the Melbourne Cup. Comptroller and Royal Roue are expected on Tuesday.
SYDNEY, Mth October. Rapine departs for Melbourne on Monday. Yesterday he did a fine gallop at Randwick covering a mile in lmin 43isec. The last half mile, over which he was accompanied by Norma Talmadge, was covered in 512 sec.
