HAWTHORN ROBBERY
SUSPECT ARRESTED
ESOAPEE FROM PRISON,

MELBOURNE, 12th October.
The police have arrested Angus Murray on the charge of wounding and robbing Mr. Berriman, the Hawthorn bank manager, on Monday. Another man and a woman were arrested in the same house on charges of being idle and disorderly persons. Murray escaped from Geelong Gaol on 24th August, since when, according to his own story, he has frequented leading hotels and cafes, and On one, occasion dined at the next table where the Governor of Pentridge .Gaol and the Inspector of Prisons were dining.
