EFFORTS TO BUY BRITISH COAL.
LONDON, 12th October. The "Daily-Express'-'-- states'"- -that representatives of "Herr '■ Stinnes have been working at fever heat at a "West f nd 'l?, t. c! ' endeavouring to arrange a five million loan in London, offering as security the foreign currencies stored outside Germany. -The purpose "of the loan is the establishment of credits to purchase British coal for the unoccupied territory.
