INTERCESSORY SERVICE
There was a good attendance at- the intercessory service held, in the Council Chamber at midday. Mr. H. D. Grocott presided, "and an. appropriate order of service was followed. Pastor M. W. P, Lascelles'and Messrs. F. W. Coulter and J: Runigay, offered prayer, and the following Scripture'portions were read: 1 Samueli H :15 and' 12th chapter, by Mr. H. J. Thomson; Psalms 15 arid 16 by the chairman;' and 1, Timothy, 6th chapter,: by Major M'Fa'rlane. Mr. J. •Mann officiated rat the piano in the singing of community hymns-
