MANY GAMES 'ABANDONED,
'Last evening's heavy rain made spor.ts grounds very muddy and sodden to-day, with the consequence that many games get down for decision on City reserves, ■were poetpohed. ■ At Kilbirnie only three Rugby' games'were played, one of these being the senior fixture between Pbneke and Berhampore. A senior game between Oriental and Old Boye and a eeventh^grade game were played "at "VVaJfefield Park. ■!; .Marist and- Wellington seniors met at K?elburn> und two senior \ fixtures— Petorie v. Athletic and 'Varsity ■<v.- Selwyn—were played at the Athletic l^rk.- ■••-A fifth-class game between Petoile B and Poneke was set down for Nejvtown Park; and three games in the lower grades were decided at Lyall Bay. _N6 Association games were played on City 'userves, Vbut two matches' were played at- Association Park. ■■■'■■ ■In League games,-Rovers v.
