: AUCKLAND, This Day. The Pakuranga Hunt Club's Meeting was held at Ellerslie to-day in fine weather. The course was good, and there was. a large attendance. Results:
Maiden Hunters' Steeplechase, of 225 soys; about two and "a half miles.—Glentui, 10.5,. 1; Longrein,, 10.5, 2j" Aoteroa, 10.5, 3. Scratched: Gay' Bobbie, Akros, Dornley, Bovo, Mahuru, Whakamuku. Won by four lengths. Time. smin 31sec.
Hunters .Hurdles, of 225 soys; one and a half miles.—Lark Hall, 9.12, 1; Kauri Park, 10.7, 2; Hokemai, 10.5, 3. Scratched : Husker, Freshman, Jilahuru. Won by a short head. Time, 2min 55 4-ssec. Sylviai Park Handicap, of 225 soys; one, mile and a half.—Miss Egypt, 9.0, 1; King Cheops, 9.5, 2; Potoanui, 9.4, 3. Scratched: Drawbridge, Tetahi, Pinnote, Mt. Eden 11.-, Queen of the Earth, Uralla. Won by-a neck, .with the third horse a head behind. Time, lmin 19seo.
