AUCKLAND, This Day. The steamer Naringa, which arrived yesterday from Liverpool, brought ten head of pedigree cattle from Englandsix bulls, one bull calf, and three heifers. Seven of the animals are Ayrshires, two are Aberdeen Angus, and one is a Red Poll. The vessel experienced very stormy weather for the last fortnight. Very heavy seas flooded the decks. The cattle were carried in covercd-in pens on the after deck. .On 7th August a heavy sea struck one of the pens and smashed it to pieces. The animals inside were knocked down, and one fell on the Lascar attendant, who was in the pen, and broke his collarbone. The animals were buried for a\ time under the wrecked wooden pen, but were uijinj ured.
