APPOINTMENT OF NEW JUDGE
In reference to the announcement made by the Minister of Justice (the Hon. C. J. Parr) in the House of Eepresentahvea yesterday, that a new Judge of the Supreme Court would be appointed, a "Post" reporter was informed to-day that a clause would be brought down for insertion i n the Judicature Amendment, Bill to give effect to the decision. It is understood that an offer of the position has been made to a well-kno/wn barrister, and Cabinet is now awaiting his acceptance.
