LONDON,' 10th August. An impressive and picturesque scene was witnessed at the Welsh. National Eisteddfod Assembly, when, in. response to an invitation by Mr. Lloyd George in Reference to President Harding's death, 12,000 men and women leapt to their feet and sang a mournful Welsh funeral hymn. A resolution of sympathy with the United States, and with Mrs. Harding, was passed The gathering included Welsh visitors from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada, and Nigeria.
