The Leader of the Labour Party confessed to a breach of prison discipline in the House of Representatives last evening. . " They did not give me much chance to associate with other inmates," said Mr. Holland, alluding to his imprisonment some years ago. " Instructions were given that I was to be separated from the other piisoners, and not allowed to come in cantact with them. That was undoubtedly to keep me from getting information. I knew of a man who was • suffering under 'separate' treatment —really solitary confinement. I never smoked myself, and I sent my tobacco allowance to the man in solitary confinement, surreptitiously, of course. But I got it there."
