NEW ZEALAND'S MESSAGE ACKNOWLEDGED
The Government of the United States has asked that the following message be communicated to His Excellency the Governor-General, in reply to his telegram conveying the sympathy of the Government and people of New Zealand in connection with the death of President Harding:— " Profoundly touched by your kind message of condolence conveyed through His Majesty's Embassy at Washington. Would you be so good as to convey to the Government and people of New Zealand the deep appreciation of the United States for their sympathy in this time oE sorrow?"
