(Received 11th August, 10 a.m.)
WASHINGTON, 10th August.
A special train, conveying the body of the late President Harding, left Washington, on Wednesday for Marion, Ohio, his home-town, where the burial was fixed for to-day.
Arrangements "were made for the body to lie in state for 24 hours after its arrival, to permit the people of Ohio to view it. Deferring to the wish of Mrs. Harding, the last rites will be of the simplest possible character, utterly devoid of civil or military pomp. Tho train arrived at Marion shortly after noon, after being delayed for several hours on account of the dense crowds lining the route.
Every bell in the city tolled as the procession proceeded from the station to the home of Mr. Harding's father, through lanes of mourners.
