DEATH FROM INJURIES ON FOOTBALL FIELD

PALMKRSTON N., This Day. At an inquest on Claude Henry Sargeant, who died a£ the result of injuries sustained in a football match at Colyton on 28th July, the Coroner returned a verdict that deceased met his death from laceration of the brain and fracture of the base of the skull. He was satisfied death was the result of misadventure; there was no evidence of rough play.
