DRESS REGULATIONS FOR WOMEN.

■ . • ROME, 6th August. The Papal majordomo has issued regulations regarding the dress of women desirous of having audiences with the Pope. They provide that the visitors must wear dresses covering the arms to the wrist, and the neck to the chin. The dresses must reach the ankles, and must not be made of transparent material, and must not give undue prominence to the figure. Gloves are. prohibited. Hair dye will be allowed, providing it is not of a conspicuous peroxide tint.
