DOCKERS' STRIKE AND EXPORTS.
There appears to be a little anxiety as to ths quantity of tonnage that will be available to lift dairy produce ■ for the United Kingdom in October next owing to the delay in ehippin-r, as a result of the dockers' strike in London and other British ports. So far as "The Post has been able to ascertain locally, there would seem to be no cause for uneasiness. Advices have been received of vessels for New Zealand being "turned round mtii little or no unusual delay, and there is at present in the Dominion a sufficient quantity of tonnage for immediate neecis. The strike s£ms to™e weakening, judging from information reoeived *ero of the loading of ships for New Zealand and' Australia. In any i? n ™«"" Ti S SoT thiis I""* ""foremen happens, there should be ample tonnage available in October for the loadim- of dairy produce for London and for" the early shipments of .lambs and other refrigerated cargo in November.
