LONDON, sth August. Replying at a Catholic Congress at Birmingham to a speaker who advocated the formation of a p6litical Catholic Party, on the lines of the Popular Party of Italy, and the Centre Party of Germany, Cardinal Archbishop Bourne said such a party would be a great misfortune. The Catholic Church would be blamed for its inevitable mistakes.
