DACOITS IN POST OFFICE
POSTMASTER MURDERED.
(UNITED PRESB ASSOCIATION.—COPTRIoBt.) (RBUTER'S TELEGRAM.) (Received 6th August, 9 a , m .) DELHI, 4fch August Four armed Dacoits raided a branch post office in Central Calcutta. The Indian postmaster refuged to hand over the takings, and was shot dead The assailants, while retreating, fired at passers-by. One of the thieves was arrested. It is believed that they failed to secure any booty.
