SOLDIERS' SETTLEMENT BILL.
On behalf of the Lands Committee, Mr. A. D. M'Leod (Wairarapa) reporter! to the House of Representatives yesterday that the Committee had recommended that the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Amendment Bill should be allowed to proceed without amendment The Bill was set down for second reading next sitting day.
