"PRESERVING MR. PANMURE."
Sir A. W. Pinero's clever four-act comedy, -'Preserving Mr. Patimure," was repeated at the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, last evening by "The Thespians." under the direction of Mr. Culford Bell. The plot, which is laid down upon most original lines, allowed great scope to the players, and after their first nervousness they acted' up to their parts well. The star of the evening was Miss Isobel Halligan as the governess. Her acting and enunciation were good. Miss Phyllis Adams fitted' into the part of Mrs. Panmure, and Miss Linme' Nicholas was effective as the aunt. Other parts were capably taken by Miss Annie Fraser, Miss Aggie Atkins, Mi\ Fred Gaynes, Mr. Hale Spencer, Mr. Stanley Airth, and Mr. Barton Ginger. It is expected that the proceeds of the production will considerably augment the Terrace School Playground Fund.
