rf.Y;;,-« R ? en? edY appeared for the Mk*& £?&&«•**»■ According to the statement of claim, it was arranged in August, 1922, that the plaintjff should demolish a house at Hataitai, remove it to Ross street, Kilbirnie, rebuild it, and carry out certain improvements. Plaintiff was to be paid foi his labour, and was to receive 5 per cent, on the cost of materials used m the course of the job. The defence generarfy denied the almitted that there had been no arrangement for the payment of 5 per cent, on the materials, and the time occupied on the work was also disputed. Alter the luncheon, adjournment it waf, announced that the case had been settled.
