The directors of New' Zealand Breweries'.Ltd. Have now closed the debenture list. The numerous applications for small parcels have far exceeded the anticipations of the board. As was. to be expected, there have been many applications for- large sums, all of which w'erp declined. We are authorised to state that all applicants up to £1000 have received the full aniount applied for. and that £494.500 has' been 'accepted. .■..The balance will be allotted to the vending companies proportionately. ■ The drift- has been open for sevehteen:i flays; and the response is, considered.'.to.-be nipst satisfactory.
