MILITARY FUNERAL
The funeral of Private W.T. Evans, No. 14602, who died hr the. Wellington Hospital on Thursday night, took place this morning. Those present included the Mayor of Wellington (Mr. R. A. Wright), Captain Opie (representing the Headquarters staff), Lieut. Thomson (representing Group 5), Messrs. F. MC. Gilmovo' (representing the R.S.A.), G. E. Hunter, and ,W. -Stevens. Canon Feilden Taylor conducted the service at the graveside. A firing party was supplied by the Wellington College Cadets.
