MAINTENANCE CASES

Maintenance cases as follow were dealt with by Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M.. today:— ■

John Davidson Couper, arrears £11 11s, sontenced to one month's imprisonment; the warrant to be suspended so long, as £1 10s a week is paid.. Alfred Ponsford Dryden was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, warrant to be suspended so long as 15s a week is paid. Arthur Norman Williams was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, warrant to be suspended so bng as 25s a week is paid. Edwin Gordon Eden was ordered tc pay 10s a week towards the support of each of his two children. Sydney George. Pudney was ordered to pay 5s per week towards the support of William James Pudney, and a further 5s towards Elizabeth' Pudney. Frank Reid was ordered to pay 10s a week and back maintenance of his illegitimate child. Separation, maintenance, and guardianship orders were made against Cornelius Buckley, the weekly, contribution being fixed at £2.. Similar orders were also made against John Kelly, who w;is ordered to pay 30s a.week; Francis Pettit Eule. who was ■ ordered to pay £2 a week. David Swarm was ordered to pay 12s'6d a week towards the support of his child. James Patterson, arrears £17 10s, was sentenced to two months' imprisonment, warrant to be suspended so long as, 20s a week is paid . John Green, arrears £16 35,, was' sentenced to one month's imprisonment, warrant to be suspended 60 long as £1 15s is paid weekly.
