ECSTASY BALL.
Preparations are now complete for the Ecstasy Ball No. 2. to be held in the Town' Hall on Tuesday next, and judging by the sale of tickets there should be a very large attendance. Mrs. Elenor Ilempton, Mrs. Vine, and Mrs. G. Goodall arc in charge of tho Ladies' Committee, and everything for tho comfort rind enjoyment of the patrons has been thought of. Carnival dances will be held during the evening, and paper streamers, masks, and paper caps will be procurable at the hull. The'music will i)o provided by the full Tramways Band,- -Simpson's orchestra, and the Dixie Jazz Boys' orchestra. Late cars will run after the ball.
At the Ambassador there is an excellent orchestra and a perfect floor. All the latest and popu'.ar numbers are included in the proo;ramma and special requests for favourites are complied with whenever possible.
