NAPIER, This Day. The second day's racing of the Napier Park Racing Club's Meeting was held to-day in fine weather. The attendance was larc;e, and the course in good order. Results :—
Hunt Club Steeplechase, of 100 soys; about two miles.—Oak-Rose, 11.0, 1; Raumamiwhiri, 10.9, 2; Fireblight. 10.7, 3. Scratched; Sailor King. Won "by half a length. Time, 4min 37 2-ssec.
Meeauee Hack Handicap, of 125 soys; five furlongs.—Merry Imp, 9.7, 1; Kahikatea, 10.5, 2; Carnbee, "9.0, 3. Scratched : Request. Won by a length. Time, lmin 4 3-osec.
Waioliiki Hack Hurdles, of 150 soys; one milo and a half.—Mountain Peer, 9.10, 1; Nukumai, 10.7, 2; Blue Socks, 9.13, 3. Scratched : Westernei-, Heather Queen. Won by half a length. Time, 2min 51 2-ssec.
Winter Oats Handicap, of 175 soys; seven furlongs.—Barrier, 10.6, 1; Arataura, 9.11, 2; Joy Ride, 11.2, 3. All started. ■ Won by a neck. Time, lmin 32 4-ssec.
