HANNAH' AND FAIRHALL.
Exceptional interest is beinjj manifested in the big boxing contest betweefl Paul Hannah and Tommy Fah-hall, the Australian lightweight, to be staged at tile Palace Theatre, Petone. on Monday evening next. Hannah is a game and clever fighter and Fairhall has a fine ring record, having won 42 professional contests across the Tasman. Those who have watched the doings of Hannah in the past predict that he will defeat the Australian. The star contest will be supported by four amateur bouts— Barnes and Black, C'athrell and: Carroll, Brace and Slattery. Cotterell and Browne. Trains will leave Lambton Station at 5.5. 5.12, 5.27, 5.45, 6.14, and 7.30 p.m. Return trains leave Petone ■at 10.34 and 11.4 p.m. Motor 'buses will also run from the Government Buildings, returning after the performance. Anyan's 'buses will leave the Taita Hotel at 7 p.m. and Lower Hutt Post Office at 7.15 p.m. Tickets for the contest are on sale at Perry's (Wellington) and Dolling's (Petone).
