. CHRISTCHURCH, ISth June. Mr. James Everest, president of the Umstchurch Working Men's Club, wellknown in theatrical circles throughout New Zealand, while cycling past a long queue in front of the Theatre Royal to-night, collided with a heavy electric truck. A wheel passed over him, and hn is now lying unconscious in hospital. Hu condition is very serious.
