The Khantlallah Progress Association held ite annual meetinc at the Khantlallah Hall on Thursday evening. In the absence of the acting president Mr. T. B. Strong... Mr. H. H. Cornish presidedv The anaual report and balancesheet was adopted, and satisfaction was expressed at the amount of essential ■work"taken. care of by the executive during the nast year. Great reeret was expressed at the Jc^ to the association and the district, on account of his Samoan appointment, of.the former nresidcnt ; Majov-Genei'al G-. S. Richardson. Dale, who has for many years, on the old Borough Council and later on the ;City. Council,- had the interests of this district at heart. The following officers j"wero elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr.. J. M. Wallace, M.I.E.E. ; vice-president,' Captain. M. F.
