nifi'-R f" ■"' eha '™an °* the Hospital Board said at the meeting of that body yesterday that as the medical superlntendent of the Hospital was shortly proceeding to America, he desired to take that opportunity of assuring him that he had the fullest confidence of the board m the mission which he was undertaking. Dr. Wilson had held hie present position for a little over a year, and he (Mr. Castle) could say with all sincerity that he had proved an admirable administrator and hospital superintendent. In connection with the new building proposals, Dr. Wilson had shown great ability in dealing with the plans. He wished Dr. Wilson a pleasant journey, and felt sure his visit to the United States and Canada would prove profitable to the board.

Mr. C. M. Luke and the Rev. Dr. Elliott endorsed the chairman's remarks.

Dr. D. M. Wileou cordially th'ankec! the members of the board for their good wishes, and said he trusted the information he gained whilst visiting American hospitals would prove of benefit not only to the Wellington Hospital but also the public in general.
