(Received 10th May, 11 a.m.) BOME, 9th May. ■ King George placed wreaths on the tombs of Victor Emmanuel and Humbert in the Pantheon, and also on the tomb of the Unknown Warrior. Later he visited tile International Institute of Agriculture, and in a speech expressed his personal and active interest in the fortunes and misfortunes of the agricultural industry, not only in his own country and the Dominions, but throughout the world. His sympathy went out to his fellow agriculturists, who had to combat special difficulties owing to the severe fall in prices following the war upheaval. '-'The way to peace and prosperity," he said, "is uphill, but perhaps the best and most direct path is along the lines of co-operation so ad- ' mirably followed by the International Institute, which has supplied farmerß in all countries with the latest practical I and scientific information."
