FATAL ACCIDENTS
<ST. mieiAPH.—PREBB ASS9CIATI9N.) AUCKLAND, 9th May. A widow, Mrs. Bessie Shorples, 55 years of age, died in tho' hospital today from injuries, the result of being knocked down by a motor-car in Queen street last night. Her husband was killed by a tramcar about three years ago. Maurice Jonson, aged eight, was killr ed through being run over by a tramcar near his parents' residence at Avch Hill. He ran in front of the car.
