FOOD SUPPLIES CUT OFF
SERIOUS POSITION AT ARTHUR'S
PASS.
GREYMOUTH, This Day. There is a serious situation at. Arthur's Pass, as the usual food supplies from Springburn are now cut off. Arrangements have been made for bread and meat, etc., to be sent from the Coast. The first consignments were sent to-day, and the use of the Otira Tunnel has been asked for from the Minister of Public Works.
