HARRIERS
BROOKLYN HARRIERS AND HUTT
VALLEY CLUB.
Last Saturday about 40 members of the Brooklyn and Hutt Valley Clubs took part in a combined run from Kelburn. Each club supplied a man to lay the trail, which was confined to the road for the first two miles, Upland road, Plunkot street, and Wilton's road being traversed in turn. When practically opposite the cemetery the trail left the road and continued up the bill, coming out on the road again to the right of the wireless station. Tho return trip was made via Northland road and the viaduct. A combined runin from scratch over the last 150 yards resulted in Brooklyn gaining the first three places, D. Gillies, H. Walls, and J. Cooper finishing in that order. Next Saturday the Brooklyn Club holds a novice handicap at Miramar.
